About

Hi, I'm Eric.

I build and run skl — the place your AI skills live, and this site is its front door.

skl was born from a real annoyance. I use different skills for different projects. Park them all at the user root and every project pays for them — skills the project never needs still eat tokens out of the context. Configure each project by hand instead, and now the same skill is copied around with slightly different setups; the day I update one, chasing every stale copy across projects is a nightmare.

That's exactly the problem npm solved for packages. So: manage skills like npm manages packages — save a skill once, version it, then skl install <skill> it into just the projects (and agents — Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, Grok) that need it, and skl install to rebuild the whole set identically anywhere. Here it comes.

It's deliberately boring and reliable — no magic, no lock-in. Your private skills stay private, and skl stays out of the way so your agents can just do their thing.
